Mulberry Pre-School
Inspiring the next generation of learners...

Parent Information
At Mulberry Pre-School we value parents as the first educators of children. We believe that children benefit most from Early Years education when parents/carers and Pre-School work collaboratively.
We work in partnership with our parents and support home learning by:
-
Detailing the focus of learning at Pre-School by sharing half-termly and weekly planning overviews.
-
Developing a consistent approach to supporting self-care skills both at home and at Pre-School.
-
Encouraging parents/carers to come into Pre-School and support activities for example, cooking, reading & craft making.
-
Invite parents/carers to our stay and play sessions.
-
Discuss any difficulties children may be experiencing at an early stage and considering the next steps with parental involvement.
News, Updates and Weekly Learning
We also use Tapestry, a secure online learning journal to record photographs, observations and comments, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, to build up a record of your child’s experiences during their time with us and to keep you informed about your child’s learning. It also allows parents/carers to add their own observations about their child.
